Heritage Hills Campground is now Thompson / Grand River Valley KOA. It has been a KOA for a few years and the new owners have put a lot of time and money into this place and it shows. This place has it all. Everything seems new and clean. Camp store is nice and has fresh pizza and ice cream available. The club house is nice, pool looks like fun, many campsites are well spaced out. We love the gazebo camp sites which make rainy day camping much less of a hassle. We met the owners and they are really pleasant people that want to make sure everyone is having a good time. We can't wait to come back. We really like this place for a quick campsite close to home.

We loved this campground! It is very clean, well organized with great spots and setups with nice furniture, fire pits, many nice amenities, lots to do for the kids. There are cute little cabins available for rent if you dont have a camper. It is a bit expensive but worth it.

THE GOOD
Site: Really spacious sites with lots of grass and large space leading to 2 ponds.
Grounds: Clean with a nice store.
Family friendly: Lots of nice family moments on elevated patios or out fishing in the ponds.
Facilities: Laundry was clean and well-maintained.
Connectivity: Good enough for us to work our remote jobs during the week.
WORTH NOTING (Not good or bad)
Getting there: Kind of off the beaten path, which is really nice. Just be aware that you will be traveling down a slightly bumpy dirt road for a few miles before getting to the campground.

Robin and the crew are very helpful, they called me to give me the after hours check in procedure once they saw I wasn't there by 3pm.
Sites are large, clean and have gravel, there are a good majority that are fairly level. The bath and shower house were clean. Wifi had a good strong signal, I was getting 20mb down speeds. ATT cell service is great here, 5G full bars! My buddy had Verizon and was getting 1-2 bars.
The roads inside the park need more gravel, when it rains its can get messy there. That was my only gripe.
You are 7 mins away from a Loves truck stop if you forgot anything.
Side note not related to the KOA- The last 1 mile of ledge road getting to the park is unpaved dirt / gravel road. If it is raining your truck and trailer will be a mess.

This is a beautiful park in the middle of Ashish Country. There is lots to do around the campground for the kids and every thing is very very well kept up. The campground has great WiFi (otherwise without Starlink good luck on internet). Sites are big and easy in/out with great amenities.
