Southernmost Point Buoy (90m To Cuba)

Technically, it's not the southernmost point, but I guess it's good to be a tourist and stop there anyways...

It's not technically the most southern point, but it's the easiest and if it's not too crowded (or if you're good with photo shop) it's a great photo opp for the fam! It is CRAZY busy though, so just be patient. When we went, everyone was patient and friendly, so we got our picture quickly.

it's a touristy attraction. nothing spectacular. just at the end of the street but it's something to get a photo op at.

I'd say "meh" - if you want to take your picture in front of it as a memory of being here then you can go and wait in a long line of people seeking to do the same. It's literally just exactly what you see in the picture though, not that special. I wouldn't take the time to specifically go here.

Not a whole lot to see, but it was on the list! Lol I found a spot to park, the line was down the sidewalk but we didn't have time for that! My daughter and I jumped out of the car, stood on the bench area and took a selfie and... done! Onto better things! Lol so what if we got others in our photo! We were still there. 😆

This is an iconic photo op in Key West. Prepare to stand in line, especially if the cruise ships are in port. We went early one morning around sunrise and the line was short and moved quickly.

Is this just a big concrete tourist attraction on a corner in Key West? Yes. Is it even technically the Southernmost point in the US? No. Will you encounter an hour long line of tourists waiting to get a picture with it? Yes. Do you really need to wait in aforementioned line to get a picture? No. Should you be a jerk and stand on the side opposite of the line and just take a perfectly timed selfie while the idiots that waited in line switch out from one group to the next? We did, and so did many others while we were there.

Yes...you just have to stop by and get the required obligatory picture of yourself at the iconic cement buoy! I think it's the law :)

You should go for the photo op, but beware the long line of tourists doing the same thing. If you're quick you can get a selfie in while the people in line switch out. There is also a cool statue right next to this, of a man blowing a conch shell, and a street art poem.

Nice photo opportunity. Go early in the morning to avoid a long line.
