“furnished in Ohio antiques”
The Inn at Brandywine Falls, overlooking Brandywine Waterfall (a 67-foot natural wonder) in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, between Cleveland and Akron, was built in 1848 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been luxuriously renovated and made modern; all without changing its historic Greek Revival appearance and character. It is furnished in Ohio antiques, and features quality amenities (including free wireless internet) and gourmet foods.
Reviews
This was a beautiful little place to rest for the night. The couple that runs the place is so friendly and the breakfast was an A++. We stayed in Adeline's suite and it was quiet and cute, however, if you don't like climbing narrow 18th-century stairs to get to your room, I would suggest staying on the main floor or out in the loft.
Also, the list of rules for staying in this place is longer than most leases. If you don't like being told what to do, I would stay away as well. Staying here for a night was an amazing experience and I definitely recommend it. It was exactly how I would think to stay in a museum for a night, and being close enough to the falls to hear it late at night was a great addition as well.
Nice spot to stop to break up a road trip. Walk to the falls was easy, along well-maintained boardwalks. Very pretty area.
A cute stop! Can’t get super close to the falls but still worth it to break up a road trip
Somehow we ended up walking through the trails to get to the falls only to find out that there was a parking lot RIGHT across from the falls. It was a very nice (albeit grueling uphill) walk, but the falls were a little disappointing after all that. It's not something you can walk up to, so I wouldn't suggest going too far out of your way to see these if you're really into adventure. All in all, they were very pretty to look at, but not worth the hour long hike.
Beautiful place. Stunning waterfall. Great stop for a long trip.
A great place to stop and walk around on our journey from Iowa to D.C. Beautifully maintained boardwalk leading to falls.
A nice spot for a quick walk to stretch your legs. Beautifully kept board walk to the falls.
Does not disappoint. The falls are impressive and the park is a lovely place to stop. If you have time, follow the trails to see more of this beautiful National Park.
