Our facilities have been designed around the need for comfort, safety and a fun-filled family vacation. Our resort is a peaceful and quiet get-a-way in a friendly and neighborly environment. You will feel relaxed and stress-free in our oasis of mature trees and water, which is far from the noise of the city and located in a remote region of America's Heartland know as Shelbyville. We are located east of the Town of Shelbyville and 2.5 miles from Lake Shelbyville.

This campground is mostly for seasonal campers (those who stay permanently). There are a number of areas for non-seasonal campers, however. The non-seasonal area was completely shaded, but because of this there was no grass on any of the sites. On a hot, dry summer day it is very dusty. The shower houses were clean, but poorly ventilated. If you were doing something else during the day (boating on the lake, hanging out at one of the beaches, etc.) this would not be too bad. It was, however, VERY noisy all 3 nights we stayed. The noise didn't abate until after midnight. If you're a night owl or a partier, this would be good for you. If you want a good night's sleep or some peace and quiet--go elsewhere!
