“bizarre roadside sculpture graveyard”
Have you ever wondered where fiberglass creature molds go to die? A vacant field behind the FAST Fiberglass Mold company has become a virtual graveyard for the creepy molds of days gone by.
If you were driving past you might think that you were looking at the worst lawn decorations in the country. Huge, eye-catching figures are tossed out daily at the Fiberglass Animals, Shapes and Trademarks company. Need a big burger to top your restaurant? FAST can help you out, and most likely, your trademark will eventually end up in the graveyard with all the others.
Giant Santas, huge mice, elephants, bears, and even a suit of arms make up one of the countries weirdest garbage Stonehenge.
If you want to take a walk through the graveyard at FAST, visitors are welcome to grab a photo-op, and hang out among the giant mice and weather worn logos… chances are you’ll see some familiar fiberglass faces. -Roadtrippers
There's a creepy graveyard just off the highway in Sparta, Wisconsin. It's the final resting place to HUNDREDS of massive fiberglass creatures. This eerie collection represents every mold the FAST Fiberglass company has ever made. After the mold is manufactured for production it's laid to rest in a gigantic graveyard in the middle of a field.
These are the molds for all those statues you see while traveling down long stretches of highway, enticing you to pull over for a burger, or get your oil changed. There are hundreds of these molds scattered across the grounds. From massive skulls, to scary sharks, and humungous Santa Clauses.
Due to the fact that the molds are left out, exposed to the elements, over time they've come to look like ancient sculptures of a bygone age.
You're welcome to stroll the serene cemetery and pay your respects at this bizarre roadside attraction.
