“estled in the shade of oak & pine trees”
In the Black Hills of South Dakota, the question is not what to do, it's where to start! Conveniently located, Wolf Camp is nestled in the shade of oak and pine trees in a valley a few mountain miles south of Keystone and Mt. Rushmore. We are a stone's throw north of Custer State Park and adjacent to the National Forest. Wolf Camp is your place to begin your Black Hills adventures. Here you will find quiet evenings interrupted only by the occasional howl of our gorgeous wolves, Akia and Wakan Tanka. We are a Wolf Education Center and on site, we have an enclosure where you can view, take pictures, and even have a chance to touch a full blood wolf. From Wolf Camp, use our trail to hike to Spokane, a deserted gold mine. Rent a cabin or pavilion for a family gathering or club event. Sit on the deck viewing the Hills having a soda or beer. Buy firewood and gather by a campfire. Purchase a quality souvenir or a Wolf Camp t-shirt in our store. Stop by for ice or fish bait.
