Large rooms with good beds and linens. Taco Tuesday was a nice surprise especially during Covid. Breakfast was uneventful and they were missing some choices of teas. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice house across from the Truman house (which was not open inside because of COVID.) The exhibits were informative but not many because of the lack of space. I’m glad we were able to see something of Truman’s surroundings.

Beautiful from the outside but the inside is closed because of COVID! The Noland house ,across the street is open but it’s not the same. The library was also closed, so Independence, MO was a bust for us.

The picnic area needs some TLC, as in, mow the weeds!! Otherwise it’s a nice stop off of 29.
