Sadly, the mail box is no more. Just a concrete slab with the pole attached. Seems to be a Geo-Cache sit tho. The research center is also gone- but its a good drive and the Little A-le-inn is worth a stop.
Didn't stay but ate at the diner. The property and history are wonderful. The food is good and the vault is awesome.
Pet friendly. Cheap. Expected more clowns in the rooms but the lobby is packed. And next to the Tonopah cemetery is eerie. The rooms are run down but clean. There is wifi but practically worthless. But the bathroom floor seemed heated and the water pressure is phenomenal. Restless noises in the dark maybe something laughing at you. Stay here to say you stayed here but know that Motel 6 Is an upgrade.
Fun place. Good wines. Nice people.
Good beer. Nice place. Don't like dogs.
Touristy. Casino. Love the old west relics and Bonanza references. Grab a beer. Light a stogie and go back to the Comstock days.
No longer The Creamery. Now Klamath Basin Brewing Co. Beer is good stop for a pint. Service may be lacking, especially if you visited Bend and Redmond, and the food is at best Meh. But a good place to stop and fill a growler.
