Nice clean pleasant place to spend a few days. Convenient to Tombstone and Bisbee. Large (40 x 80) pull throughs, with good wifi and cable. There is a small turn out with access to the San Pedro River a couple miles east on Hwy 82 which looked like a perfect shady place to get out of the southern Az heat. Sunsets and nights were Az outstanding, lots of stars! Clubhouse and pool were closed (Covid) for our stay. Price reflects the PA rate.

It was a stop over to visit family for a night and the camp is fine for that. Sits right on the Portneuf River with some access to the water. Trains running through the canyon on the other side of the road were noisy, but seemed to stop by 11p.
The side of the park we were in had large Willow trees and lots of room between some of the sites. Easily accommodate a big group with rv and tents. A little further up the hill from us were a number of new sites that looked really nice and across the entrance road, the same.
The odd part is that the Willow trees under which we were camped (we were in site 90) were oozing some sort of sticky substance that coated everything below... your motor home, trailer, chairs, bikes, tow cars, bbq, everything (including your dogs paws and the bottoms of you shoes). And not just a little bit. Google tells me that it's not unusual during the summer months for Willows that are infested with aphids to have this problem. Just wish we knew this when we booked the sites earlier this year. Kind of a mess to clean up.
The best feature of the campground might be the Lava Hot Springs Pools and water park nearby. Grand kids loved that.

Ok, I'm torn here. On the one hand, reviews are a helpful and important source of information when you're looking for a place to stop. On the other, when you find a place that you really like, do you really want to make it harder to get in by spreading the word?
For us, Crossroads is just such a place. Dry camping to be sure, the only service provided is trash collection. No water, no power, no dump station, no wifi and for us (TMobile), problematic cell service. Also no pavement, although there are some oddly placed concrete pads scattered around. It's not a big place, something like 26 sites total. But being BLM it is affordable. With our interagency pass we paid only $2.50 per night plus the ($8?) reservation fee. Roughly 3/4's of the sites are on the river or within sight of it. Even the 6 overflow sites are within 150 yards of the water. If you are allergic to the sound of unmuffled v8 ski boats or whinny jet skiis, then you'll notice that there is some traffic on the river through your front yard. Didn't bother us in the least.
