We initially tried to get in here. What a zoo. They are very busy. They are organized and friendly but the wait is long and the food we saw coming out looked good but not extraordinary so we decided to go across the street to the Old Mill Pottery House Cafe and Grille. That was an excellent choice.

This park is located in a very touristy town. They are up the hill a bit and have made it peaceful and beautiful. As you would expect for the area, spacing is fairly close but they have made a lot a beauty in a very busy area. They win the prize for most beautiful bathroom! As nice as a nice hotel! View from our pad was beautiful. (I uploaded a picture).

Beautiful area with a lot of activities available. Options for anywhere from Beginner (must have some skills) to Advanced Mountain Biking, great hiking trails, beautiful old church on premises, baseball field, group areas, and overall wonderful. Rangers were very helpful and friendly. Only down side is bathrooms could have been cleaner. The park was very full when we were there and it may just due to such a large group of families with kids being there, but the bathrooms were not that clean they were ok, but the other Tennessee and Arkansas State Parks we visited this trip did a much better job keeping the bathrooms clean.

Park spaces were nice and well maintained.

Overall, though, recommend Montgomery Bell and would definitely go back!

Beautiful area with lots to do; biking, hiking. Lots of space between sites and lots of trees. It is an active bear area and the park has a personal bear proof container for each site for use. Park ranger at campground checkin (Ron) was THE BEST! Lots of information and friendly. Bathrooms were great! Very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend Bandy Creek Campground!

Great stay. Staff is excellent and there are so many beautiful and historic places in the hotel. The main level piano area was so peaceful. We stayed in the Concierge area and the breakfast offerings were great. We missed the evening drinks and appetizers. The drinks at the bar were superb. We only had appetizers but they were excellent. Then we went to the piano area for dessert. Wonderful...Wonderful!

Excellent place to visit. The information center has great information and a 30 minute film that gave a great overview. Then the drive to the various points finished it off wonderfully. The ranger at the information center was friendly and knowledge. I really enjoyed talking to him. At the Tavern House (which had apparently just reopened after renovations) the gentleman there provided great information and was also super friendly. Great visit and I am glad we visited!

Absolutely loved this place. The campsite was amazing. Lots of space. We were in Loop E, Site 73. It was close enough to the showers/bathroom and WiFi that it was an easy walk (about 100’), yet far enough away that we felt we had privacy. Be aware that they have WiFi at places in the park like the bath/shower building(s), but unless you are there, you are “unplugged from the world”. It was nice...but if I needed to check anything, I just walked the 100’ and used it.

In the laundry room, I enjoyed that there was a birds nest in there with a momma bird flying in and out of the window feeding her babies. Perfect for a national park! Overall peaceful.
