Easy to get in and out of and close to I-10 without the noise. Gravel roads and wide level pads. It was quiet for the one night we were there.

Narrow sandy roads to get to mostly private dirt campsites with a picnic table and fire ring. Thick tree coverage, very natural, trees a little sparse. View photos of each site on FL State registration website. All back in sites, except I think only one pull-through. Some noise from the main road along the west side but not heavily trafficked. 3 separate bathroom/shower buildings, dumpster and dump station located at entrance. Nice store at the boat ramp for supplies and kayak/canoe rentals to explore the river and intracoastal areas. Easy access being only a couple of miles from I-95. We had 2 bars of 5Ge service.

Really beautiful state park in a forest on a lake - nice hiking trails. So serene. Good space between the sites with room around the back as well, especially if you're on the lake side. The sites can be quite steep. On site 4, once we made the tight turn to get into the space, we then had to make sure the RV was forward enough to get the stabilizers on the pad. The pad was quite steep, we had the tongue jack completely retracted to get to level. The paved pad is a little narrow, just enough for the rig, then the steps were hanging over a pretty big drop-off from the pad to the gravel. Also, the sewer hookup is toward the back, and with having to pull the rig forward, it used all of our 20' of sewer hose. Almost no usable AT&T signal here. Saturday morning the park hosted a 5K run and then later there were 2 very loud speed boats at full throttle going back and forth in the lake—a little annoying. Using Waze for navigation initially took us past the entrance towards a nondescript road—the main entrance is the way to enter.

An Army Corp of Engineers campground not far from the highways. A few small loops separated by trees. Our site #31 was perfectly level and long enough for our 28' RV and truck to both fit. Paved site with pebbled living area accessorized with a picnic table and fire ring plus a short path to the lake behind it. Some of the other sites weren't long enough for that and a few you could've parked an 18-wheeler towing an RV. Most of the sites are on, or very close to, the lake. The bathroom/shower was clean and the water was hot. No wifi and cell signal weaker as you get closer to the lake.

We arrived on Memorial Day around 4:00, and it was busy, but no one in the way, just lots of people enjoying their camping experience. Beautiful location in a deep lush forest with paved roads and level gravel sites. Our campsite was perfectly level gravel and backed up to a serene babbling brook. Campground was quiet by dark and quiet in the morning. If you can come off 70, do so, much shorter, straighter, easier route to the campground. Otherwise, coming from the entrance on 47 is more winding on tight roads with deep gutters just off the pavement. The spread of check out at noon, checkin at 4:00 is a bit extreme, since the ranger updated the site reservation tags at 9am, and they were cleaning bathrooms at the same time, not sure why they need 4 hours for turnover.

Park was quiet and beautiful while still being close to town. Nice hiking and biking trails right from the campground. Tight winding access road to the campground in the back of the park, then an even narrower winding driveway with a few sharp turns through the camp sites. Paved road with paved sites that all seem to slope sharply up or down depending on the side. Site 37 was tricky for our 28’ rig and SD Ford thanks to a few unfortunate placed trees, but with care and patience, we got it in. Side to side leveling was only more difficult because of roots pushing up the asphalt, had to find the right spot. Then had to use the entire tongue jack with a bucket and a few blocks to get the nose high enough to level. All good once we we’re done though. Site 38 next to us looked horrible and way worse off with the roots breaking through the pad.

Big gravel campsites, mostly pull-throughs, part of a park near a dammed-up lake with large old growth trees. About 5 miles from the highway in a very rural out of the way area. Some spots had sewer while others didn't—couldn't figure out the pattern there, but most with sewer hookup seem to be in Loop 2. There were cable hookups but we didn't try them, however, there were a lot of over the air channels available. Nice walking/hiking/biking nature trails from the campground.
