We stayed at this KOA for 4 nights. Definitely will never stay here again. First, we did not have any children with us. If you have kids you will probably like this place. It is like an amusement park and campground combined. It has nice facilities and is well maintained. We did not have any children with us, so for us it was very noisy, crowded (excited children running around and on bikes), ATV’s and cars constantly on the roads and smokey with all the campfires going every night (the campground is in a valley and the smoke has nowhere to go). The campground also advertised that it had WiFi and it does not. You can connect to their WiFi but it does not connect to the internet. We had to go into town to get an internet connection.
Beautiful beach, nice campsites in a historic place.
Nice place to stop for the night or as a place to stay for a day trip to New Orleans.
