$24 for full hookups! Sites are large and pretty level. Shower house is clean. My wife did say the women’s smelled like smoke. There were some sketchy looking “regulars “ hanging around. Very basic, but just what we needed for a night.

Site we were in is wide and long. Power, no water or sewage. Check in process was tedious, held up traffic of people already checked in. Bathrooms rooms and showers were ok. TP is sandpaper, bring your own. Trails are well maintained. Beach is still closed, but it looks like a couple of days work is all that’s needed to fix it. Get of your butts forest service. Not crowded, dumpster and dump station.

Check in was awkward, we had to call host while blocking previously checked in guests. Site was nice and big. Had power, no water or sewage. Showers and restrooms were in good shape. Walked as close as we could to beach, but it’s still closed. Looks like the Forest Service could easily fix with a little effort. Trails were nose, some were paved. Would stay again, but nothing special without beach.

Paved sites with electricity, warm and clean showers and restrooms. Our site was almost level. Access to lake, boat ramp, hiking. Sites are fairly private. Dump station onsite. Very shady. Only negative was some sketchy people sleeping outside the bathhouse the first day. I noticed them bundled up on a picnic table. 2 hours later they were still there and asked me for a ride ( I didn’t give them one). Hopefully this was a rare occurrence at Arrowhead

Neat National Park site. Spots were small with no hookups. Picnic table and fire pit, cold water bathrooms. Many sites did not look close to level. Areas for solar showers, but no indoor showers. Elk, deer, hawks, chipmunks frequented the site.

Our stay at Morefield was amazing. The site was mostly level. We were the only campers on our half of the loop the first two nights. Within walking distance of hiking trails. Deer frequented our area. Clean bathrooms located nearby. There is little to no shade. The showers are not within walking distance of most sites. An awesome base camp to experience Mesa Verde. Wi-Fi was very spotty and phones did not work.

The campsite is almost level, with power and water. The area looks nice and forestry, unlike the surrounding community. The campground smells like sewage at times, even though there are no sewage hookups. Decent amount of wildlife. The shower/ restroom situation is concerning. The women’s room is under construction so men and women share the men’s room. There is no toilet paper, the trash is overflowing, and the state of the bathroom is poor ( feels like a prison). The campground trash cans are overflowing and no one has mowed in awhile. I’ve been here 2 days so far and the visitors center has yet to open. Once the bathrooms are fixed this may be a nice place.

Swimming, hiking, playground, and more. The campground was hilly, sites aren’t huge or perfectly level. No sewage hookups. Friendly host. The water pressure at site is a little too powerful. The worst thing are the restrooms and showers. Very old and dirty.

The campground maintenance guy was very friendly and helpful. The ladies in the office were a bit rude. The grounds were ok. There were lots of long term residents. The bathhouse was good. Hot water in the showers but not the sink. There was a pool, but we did not use (too cold). We did play free foosball and there was a billiards table, movies, and games for free in the clubhouse. At night there was a decent amount of road noise, enough to wake me up more than once. There also was a guy yelling at security about his stolen bike the day we left. Oh, and they charge extra if you use a credit card!

The park is awesome for short hikes and wildlife. The campground was Ok. We stayed in a non electric site. The site was very narrow, I could not extend the awning. The bathhouse has great showers, but none of the toilet stalls had working locks.
