Very pretty and worth the stop and the short hike but be prepared to deal with crowds.

Just spectacular! We got up early to catch the 6am shuttle to the observation point hike. It was well worth it to beat the crowds and the heat (it was in the triple digits later on!). Observation hike actually looks down on angels landing but the hike itself is not as scary. It's close to 10 miles round trip but the last mile up is easier And coming down is quick. We stopped by the weeping wall after, it was neat and easy so there were more people. Later in the afternoon we hiked the emerald pools, they were nice but did not compare to observation point and they were crowded with people.

Meh it was pretty and the sunset lighting up the cacti was beautiful, but the Joshua trees were better (although smaller) in Death Valley.

Mono lake is beautiful and I wish I could have seen one of the many bird migrations that come here because they are what makes this place extremely cool. The amount of water that has been lost is scary and a real eye opener. Neat spot.

We came into Death Valley the back way from inyo. It was amazing and the Joshua trees were better than the ones I. Joshua tree park! We saw racetrack playa, crankshaft junction and teakettle junction plus a huge crater and bad water basin, it was so cool and otherworldly!

There is a shuttle you have to take in and it costs 7 bucks pp so be prepared to spend a few hours here. There are a lot of things to see and do here and numerous hiking trails. The bus leaves every 20 minutes and it's a bit of a ride in so it takes extra time to see even if you are just going to the post pile which is a short hike.

Awesome ghost town but get there early because the pictures are better without a million tourists in them and this place fills up fast!

Bears! And swimming! And awesome trees and hikes! Yellow jackets at the campsite though. You can bring your own wood for the campfire.
