Found out about the float balls while on a trip in Ashland. we were able to get one made the air and they told us all about Lincoln city and how they had is finders Keepers throughout the year. after reviewing multiple ground glass shops in the area this one was special because it was a family business not a store. after wandering around their studio I picked up one of the floats and had to buy it. the people inside were very nice they even give me a hint about where to find one of the missing floats that they put on the beach. 😉. would definitely recommend that you go here as they were very helpful and very nice and everything was very well priced.
this look really cool in the pictures that we saw online unfortunately you have to wait for about a half an hour for a really good wave to hit to make the effects it and all the pictures show up. otherwise it's just water sloshing in and sloshing out sloshing in and sloshing out. I'm sure there's a better time of year maybe for this order to do it during high tide when the water may make more of an effect but when we were there at approximately 11:30 it didn't look the best.
awesome to watch nature at its finest unfortunately there was too many people down by the actual well so we couldn't get a good glimpse at it from the viewing area by the road. Saw some wildlife an eagle and a couple of seagulls. right next to the viewing point for the floor as well there is a spouting horn which we didn't even know where is there but found actually more exciting to watch than the well. location was very busy lots of people here and if you are not planning on walking down all the way to the well all you can see is small parts of the actual geographic area.
bridge was beautiful love seeing the architecture design unfortunately there was nowhere to pull off on either side of the bridge to take quality photos.
A little off the beaten path not somewhere close to the highway. not enough information about the location as well as the animals posted. we did see a few elk about two large males in about for females. unfortunately they were all about it more than 1/4 mile away and hiding in the underbrush making it hard to see them for more than a few seconds at a time. would recommend that you come here early in the morning otherwise it will get packed as we were leaving car started appearing. they are also doing work on the highway right now keep that in mind about traffic.
Great place to go. Wondered around near the beach as well as into the flower gardens. Flowers were beautiful. Only disappointment was that the gift shop didn't open until 10:30 am. Even though the park opens at 8. All around a good place to get out of the car and spend a half an hour taking in nature's beauty.
Great place. Close to the water clean and inviting. The clerk at check in was very helpful even gave us advice for dinner that night. Lovely view from the room. Soft comfortable beds. Lots of things included with the room ie: coffee maker tea bags, ice, movies. Not in the center of town so away from all the noice, but still only a few blocks from everything you need to get to. Lots of parking and rooms were very clean. Would recommend of you are stopping in town.
Made a pip stop here on our road trip. Cute little casino. Loved the fact that there was no smoke smell. Won some and lost some but that's how it goes. Free fountain drinks available. Everyone was very nice and happy to help. All in all a great stop. Would advise you stop here if you need a few to rest after driving or of you want a relaxing time were you might win something.
