Really beautiful place to visit! We stopped here for a picnic lunch and to dip our toes intro the southern end of Lake Michigan. The kids were happy to be able to get a stamp on their national parks passport books. Will definitely return and plan to stay longer.
Small but nice Holiday Inn. Tastefully decorated, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Nicely preserved historic site. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The kids were excited to get their National Park passports stamped.

Nicely decorated. Very comfortable beds. Not very well sound proofed. We were across the hall from the elevator and were awakened to the dings. Also heard the bathroom noises from the room above us. The pool is outside and is bounded by alleys on 2 sides and the loading circle on the other. The small shrubs provide no privacy from cat traffic, so not a good pool at all. The breakfast is free and there are a lot of tasty options.

Decent place to eat. The kids enjoyed the free arcade games. Service was ok. I wish the menu had warned me that the build your own sandwich option (you select your meat, bread, cheese, and toppings) would come with mayo even when you don't select it. I got mayo on my burger with Jamaican sauce - yuck.
This place is amazing. All of the condo units face the ocean for magnificent views. Beautiful sandy beach, warm shallow gulf waters perfect for swimming. The pools look nice, but we didn't use them because the kids were in love with the ocean. Convenient restaurants and shopping on site. I would definitely stay here again!
A fun experience for the kids, but some parts of the exhibits were not functional, and many of the outdoor plaques were worn and difficult to read. A little disappointing when you pay $70 for a family of four to attend.
A decent room for the price. The air conditioner in our room had a hard time keeping up and smelled musty. Small rooms and not nearly as nice as I've come to expect from the Holiday Inn brand (think more like an express room, but without the free breakfast.) The pool looked nice and the staff was friendly.
