Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books. -John Lubbock

A large picturesque campground with very nice sites that's family and animal-friendly. They have their own little general store with anything you would need on your trip and the staff are usually exceptionally kind. There are also plenty of amenities onsite including a cafe for those who don't like taking the time to grill over an open fire. They also have a pool area with shower rooms. Although they also offer a primitive camping area and cabins.

Great place to bring your family for a getaway. With some very enjoyable walking path along the creek, owned by the campground. A very large yard for playing softball, plenty of activities to do around the water with lots of kayaks around. The owners and staff are friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help you make your trip as enjoyable as possible.

Located not too far off from the highway, there's not much in the way of amenities, but it's clean, quiet, and safe. The staff are always usually attentive and kind. They have about 20 or so gravel pull through spots that have electric, water, and sewer connection. The road to get there maybe a little tore up with pot holes, but perfectly fine for getting even a big rig into place.

This is the perfect place to get away from the craziness of the Indianapolis 500 crowd. We can enjoy all the 500 events and then come here to sleep in the quiet countryside. This isn't a party campground and it's a nice, secure place to stay during the events.

Everything about this place is nice. The owners have made many improvements over the last few years and there are activities almost every weekend. As for amenities, they have a pool, playground, pond and A camp store for campers to use.

It's a great place to go and relax with the kids and play mini golf or swim. Quiet nights, peaceful days. Clean, well kept campground with friendly staff and plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained. Mostly seasonal campers have the shade trees but still a nice place. Staff are usually friendly and helpful.

This campground clean and well maintained, The sites are nice and big although a lot of the other RVs are permanent which makes staying there fairly quiet. The bathrooms are a bit rough but are used mostly by tent campers as all RV spots have water, sewer and electricity hookups.

A reasonably priced campground located in an ideal place for a relaxing stay right alongside a lake and not overcrowded. They have two playgrounds, one in the tent area that's small so you can keep a good eye on your children. Fishing here is great too with a great scenery to boot.

A beautiful lakeside campground that brings you closer to nature, lots of wildlife can be found in and around the lake, with some good fishing to be had as well. A great place to enjoy some relaxing and peaceful weekend.

Quiet and peaceful campground right by the lake, but might not be the best place to bring older kids if you want to keep them entertained. There's no swimming area at the lake, and boating is not allowed although you can pay to fish. The campground hosts are usually very friendly and accommodating.
