The camp store and the main facilities accessbile for the entire campground are located at Long Bay. Long Bay Motor Camp has on-site boat ramp, fishing charter, playground, kayak hire, Christmas 2015 Paddle Board Hire, easy access to fishing, water sports, safe swimming for all ages, kauri track and a leisurely 3km walk to Coromandel Town.
