The Matukituki Valley is a short drive 30 mins from Wanaka and home to a number of fantasic canyons, Niger Stream, Big Nige, Mill Creek and the awesome Leaping Burn. In the Makarora and Haast area we guide Cross Creek, Robinsons Creek, Wilson Creek, Imp Grotto and Wai Rata. Deep Canyon provides all equipment and guides and have been running trips since 1994.
