New Zealand Salmon at its best. Floating on the glacial waters of Wairepo Arm, High Country Salmon is ideally situated on State Highway 8 just south of the town of Twizel. State Highway 8 is the main inland road from Christchurch to Queenstown and passes Aoraki/Mt Cook and scenic Tekapo before it reaches Twizel.

They offer visitors the opportunity to purchase salmon, feed the fish, relax and take in the beautiful scenery. The friendly team is happy to answer questions and help you select from their large range. Fun place for breakfast or supper. Bagel with lox, sushi, salmon and kumara pie. Fish for a salmon while you wait. It's all about the salmon. Great people to help you also. Read more
