Kumera Patch

Depending on the conditions and tide, its often a wally, workable wall with some faster barrel sections. It can be easier to run back round the beach for the next ride and maybe have a quick rest after the long ride. Its a bolder point with a sandy beach. Best between 3-12ft. best for Intermediate to expert surfers. Respect the locals.

From New Plymouth head soth west on Devon Street West. Continue out of New Plymouth on South Road State Highway 45. Go just through Okato and turn right onto Kaihihi Road and park at the end of the road. From here its about a 20min walk south west along the beach to the point.
