We’re just opposite the waterfront in the centre of town, here to look after the locals and visitors to our island. We are a well-stocked supermarket with everything you need to enjoy a great stay on Stewart Island – if we haven’t got it, we’ll do our best to get it for you – and our prices are comparable to the mainland!

In addition to a full supermarket range of groceries we sell fishing, camping and tramping supplies, wine and beer, newspapers and magazines, and much more! Sandwiches and fresh bread made on-site daily, hot pies, sausage rolls, scones, muffins, cakes, and sweet slices, fresh fruit, sweet and savoury snacks, confectionery and ice creams. And Lotto!
