A place to relax and enjoy life to its fullest. BBQ, sit on top kayaks, boogie boards, snorkels and Wi-Fi are all available for use. Bookings can be made for the waterborne activities which all leave from Russell. Te Wahapu Rd is three km towards Russell from the Opua-Okiato vehicular ferry or five km from Russell.

Accomodation:

There are only two bed rooms in the hostel. One of which has a double-twin bed configuration and the other has three single beds. The beds are fully made up so sleeping bags are not required. There is a full self contained kitchen, four burner gas hob, microwave, refrigerator and utensils however there is no oven.

Directions:

From the south there are two ways you can reach our lodge. The most direct way is via the vehicle ferry which travels between Opua and Okiato on a regular basis. (Last ferry leaves Opua at 10:00 pm or 2200 hours) The other option is to come up the coast road which takes about an hour longer but is well worth it if the time can be spared. From the north the vehicle ferry is the best option.
