Blueskin Bay Nurseries & Café

Blueskin Nurseries is one of the most sustainable garden centre and cafe operations in New Zealand. Striving to lead the way running a self-sufficient garden centre and café, they pride themselves in having delicious food, the best coffee in town and exceptional customer service.

Their goal is to grow, produce and sell food according to sustainable principles, minimising their environmental footprint by creating awareness of their environmental impact among staff, customers and suppliers, and adopting sustainable practices throughout the business.

It is a relaxed café with a large outdoor garden area opening into the surrounding garden centre. Their emphasis is on fresh produce from local suppliers, including near by Evansdale Cheese, Blueskin Bay Honey, Harbour Fish and also Mean Greens. All food is baked and created onsite, including their preserves, relishes and jams.

The café is also very much a part of the Blueskin Bay Community with group visits, catering for local events and it is a gathering place at the weekends.
