“Southern hospitality, complemented by a genuine country style menu and award-winning Central Otago wines.”
Located close to the summit and at the halfway point of the Rail Trail, Wedderburn is the perfect stop to explore and experience the uniqueness of Central Otago. The historic Wedderburn Tavern, built in 1885, is situated in the heart of the Maniototo Plain on the Central Otago Rail Trail. Once the preferred stop-over for coaches and wagons, it is now the favourite destination for Rail Trail cyclists.
There are three comfortable twin single rooms in the tavern. Tariffs include continental buffet breakfast as well as coffee and tea during your stay. Group and family discounts available.
