Horse riding at Te Taunga Adventures is based on ‘Te Taunga’, a 1630 acre/660 hectare certified organic sheep and beef farm in New Zealand’s South Island overlooking the Pacific Ocean, making it a great location for experiencing the coastal Catlins on horseback, with spectacular views over farmland and native forest both inland & overlooking the coast.  Stunning views over several beaches, Owaka and Catlins rivers, Catlins lake, estuary, Pounawea and Owaka. You can enjoy a personalized service, riding in small groups with the opportunity to ride among farm animals, through our native forest full of bird life and along pristine sandy beaches to play in the surf or view the sea lions. Our emphasis is on safety and enjoyment, in an atmosphere of great fun.
