Pouto Sand Safaris

Come for a hair-raising hoon over the sand dunes, or cruise down to visit the Pouto Lighthouse. When you see the trek up the hill to the lighthouse, you'll be glad you saved yourself the walk! Your driver, Jock, is a charismatic joker with a wealth of information about the area. You'll have a fabulous, thrilling and educational time, including access inside the lighthouse to admire the view! A trip of at least an hour and a half (longer by arrangement) to the Lighthouse starts at $35pp (minimum two people). A party can consist of up to 5 people. Bring warm clothes even on a hot day, as the wind can be chilly. Don't forget sunscreen and your camera.
