“Driftwood Eco-Tours specialises in guiding for small groups with an interest in wildlife, flora, history, geology and photography.”
Kayak, walking and van tours at the Wairau Lagoon east of Blenheim are popular, particularly for those interested in photography and bird watching. The Wairau Bar is the first known site of human occupation, being once the home of the Polynesian Moa Hunter. The area is also rich in early European history.
We are the only Department of Conservation Concessionaire for the area.
We are based 10 minutes from the Blenheim railway station, 20 minutes from the Marlborough Airport and 30 minutes from Picton. We can arrange transfers.
We also have a quiet B&B style accommodation near our eight hectare conservation wetland.
We look forward to sharing our love of nature with you at your pace.
