Make A Knife

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL Join us for a whole day activity – forging a knife from raw steel to a blade you will treasure forever. Using the traditional Blacksmith tool kit of forge, hammer and anvil we first forge and shape the blade. Once forged, a little tidying up with the file or grinder can be done prior to heat treating and attaching your handle. There is nothing quite like a knife you have made your self, whether for outdoor use or in the kitchen. We offer a full day activity from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm. We include lunch, a selection of gourmet pizzas provided by Wakefield’s Cafe Rhubarb.
