Old Saint Mary's Convent Vineyard Estate is situated in the heart of Marlborough's wine growing area. Old Saint Mary's Convent is on an estate of 60 acres of vineyard and parkland. Built in 1901 for the Sisters of Mercy, the Convent offers air-conditioned rooms, all with balconies. Continental or cooked breakfast is served in the cosy breakfast room. Relax and enjoy the library, with its ornate Kauri fireplace, billiards room and guest lounge, Bicycles, petanque, outdoor swimming pool for exclusive guest use. St Michaels's Church onsite is available for small weddings. Old Saint Mary's Convent Vineyard Estate is home to a small family of cats who enjoy lounging in the sun on the vast verandas. They are not encouraged to enter guest rooms but please note their presence on the property should this be an issue of health.
