Morelea Farm

Morelea Farm is a real working farm located in the Mackenzie Country, 3km from Fairlie, nestled on the main South Island tourist route between Christchurch, Aoraki/Mt Cook and Queenstown. ​

You will have a chance to meet Angie and Stan, who run the farm daily. Stan will show you a typical dog demonstration and shear a sheep for you. Depending on the season, you may also get a chance to bottle feed a calf or a lamb. Angie enjoys cooking you a farm lunch including her world-famous homemade bread and pavlova!

Angie and Stan having been farming for the last 40 years and have been welcoming visitors into their home for the last 25 years. There is nothing more real than this experience. Stan won't dress up for your arrival, he will greet you off the coach in his farm clothes. They pride themselves on being able to run a fully working farm with the help of their son, and share this with each and every visitor.
