“The largest organic lavender farm in the Southern Hemisphere.”

The growers of New Zealand Alpine Lavender have a strong belief in organics which has culminated in growing a world-class lavender product.

The lavender is grown in a natural, untouched, pristine environment of crystal clear skies, snow capped mountains, turquoise rivers, and lakes of glacial melt.

Strong winds, fierce sunshine, snow and ice, colourful autumns and unexpected crispy cool days make up the volatile climate, and are some of the reasons New Zealand Alpine Lavender is so potent and unique.

New Zealand Alpine Lavender grows three main cultivars: Pacific Blue, Avice Hill and Violet Intrigue, botanically named Lavandula angustifolia, or “Old English Lavender,” sometimes known as “True lavender.”

Walk through the vibrant lavender fields, take photos, and visit the on-site shop to buy certified organic lavender oil, exclusive lavender-scented hand-made soaps, lotions, lavender chocolate, lip balm and unique cuddly soft toys.

Gates open December - March.
