Established in 1998, Tekapo Helicopters is the premier scenic flight company operating out of the beautiful Lake Tekapo region. Its parent company, Alpine Adventures, is locally owned and operated in Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers and began scenic glacier flights in 1986.

The only 100% locally owned and operated helicopter company licensed to land at all designated landing sites within the Westland National Park, Alpine Adventures provides a selection of highly popular Fox glacier and Franz Josef glacier scenic flights that include a snow landing on a glacier – all year round.

Tekapo Helicopters operate a modern fleet of four and six seated turbine helicopters that are serviced and maintained to ensure maximum passenger safety and comfort.
