Ashburton Art Gallery

With just over 20 years of operating history, the AAG is one of the youngest public art galleries in the country and is devoted to experimentation, innovation and engagement in art. The new building is a place for everyone to enjoy.

The Ashburton Art Gallery is small hub of creative and diverse activity. The Gallery maintains a full programme of exhibitions throughout the year which promote and exemplify the works of local and national artists for the public. Exhibitions range from solo to group compositions and are sourced through the Gallery collection, the artists and other institutions.
