Many major rugby and cricket matches have been hosted at the Park most recently the Rugby World Cup 2011 and the Cricket World Cup 2015. In 2015 Eden Park is the host for the Bledisloe Cup, ITM Cup, Super Rugby, Georgie Pie Super Smash, Wellington Phoenix Football and Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines games. With a seating capacity just under 50,000 seats, Eden Park creates an unmatched atmosphere to experience LIVE sport in New Zealand.
