Xel-ha National Park

Xel-Há Aquatic Park is a huge aquatic park which combines leisure tourism and activities with cultural traditions and environmental conservation. Xel-Há's rainforest on the Yucatan peninsula is home to over 100 bird species, 230 flora species and 90 marine species. Xel-Há is a special place because here the fresh water from the subterranean rivers meets and mixes with the salty ocean water. This leads to a great diversity and richness of marine life which is perfect for great snorkelling. It is one giant natural aquarium.
