This is where humans were sacrificed to appease the gods. The water is now stagnant. There is also still standing a Sweat House overlooking the Cenote. Visited June 2013
All type of people were killed and thrown into this sinkhole. More than 300 skelotons were removed from this sinkhole a few years back. Its nice to see and hear about the different type of people and artifacts they found there.
