This secluded hotel is located on the beachfront 30 minutes’ drive from Majahual and Costa Maya. It offers charming beach huts and rooms with a private terrace or balcony and ocean views. The rooms at the Mayan Beach Garden Inn feature terra cotta floors and ornate mosaics in the bathroom. Each one comes with a ceiling fan and a private bathroom. The hotel’s restaurant serves traditional Mexican food. There is also a bar where you can enjoy a home-made cocktail. Guests at the Mayan Beach Garden have free access to kayaks, and the hotel has other water sports equipment available for rent. The Costa Maya is a great place to go scuba diving.

This place is amazing. The hosts, Kim and Marcia are wonderful and have tons of good advice. Dinner is family style and you can meet people from all over the world. We rented a house down the road, but found ourselves more often than not eating dinner (and lunch) here. The food was amazing. The next time we travel to Mexico, we will just stay here at the MBG because the rates are great and the accommodations are spectacular (as is their beach). A "must' is scheduling a tequila tasting with Fernando.
