There are many beautiful areas in Baja... Guerrero Negro is not one of them. If you are stopping here it's to see the whales or to get off that oh so skinny road called Highway 1. Mario's is conveniently located next to the road and offers whale tours in season. The pull-through spots are fairly big. On the negatives our electric hookup had problems, there were lots of flies, and it's kind of expensive for basically dry camping. We would stay here again because the other options in town didn't look so great either.

The staff was very friendly, they have their own restaurant, food is ok, the whale watching tour is great. This place is good to spend a night and or also take the whale tour. You are very close to the ocean and it is very windy, so no activity outside your rig, they have full hookups. We bought fish and other sea food in Guerrero Negro, 1 week later we are still eating it and it is great, the price was half of what they where asking in Ensenada.
The site is big, no problem with space.

Guerrero Negro is a good stopping point in either direction when traversing the Baja peninsula. If it is a true overnight for you, may as well be here. The electricity is spotty at best and you should never use it without a surge protector. The water pressure is good. What makes us stop here is the restaurant.
Better than average food and lovely people serve it. We are guessing they own the land, the park, the restaurant and the whale tour business.
Be careful with your dogs. They have guard dogs that appear vicious, but prolly aren't. Without knowing you shouldn't take the chance.

None of the electric was correctly wired, etc. I wouldn't trust my system with this electricity. Plenty of solar. Plenty of loud trucks all night. Plenty of barking dogs. It is convenient for the whale watch tour, which was pretty good.
We did manage to dump because we had enough hose to reach the spigot by the men's room which had normal threads. Very clean bathroom and hot shower. We heard Malarrimos had even more barking dogs. I'll camp out in the dunes next time or try to get from San Ignacio to San Felipe and not stop here. Decent cell. No WiFi.
