Hookups, a pool, and hot showers. Relatively expensive for Baja, but very well kept.

While I enjoyed our stay here, mostly due to it being convenient to drive to town, we met a few other travelers who were cool, and the kids were very safe while riding their bikes around the campground, it is very reminiscent of an RV park in the US. Lots of big rigs coming through. More rules and regulations than is the norm in Baja.

Lovely staff though, every morning the guy who maintains the place said Buenos Dias and tried having some other conversations with us, though our poor Spanish limited the affect of those.

There's a coffee shop right next door with great lattes, Americanos, and a ridiculously cheap breakfast (80 pesos for pancakes, two eggs, a bunch of bacon, juice or coffee...it's enough to feed two easily, we would only order two for our entire family of 5). You can also walk to places where you can buy beer, tires or ridiculous amounts of raw meat.

There's also a Walmart, an Autozone and a Home Depot, the first of such things you'll see after leaving the US headed south in Baja.

This place is a Christian camp, too, and so during whatever season that is (probably summer but it surely is crazy hot then) it may be next to impossible to get in here, and also because of that the owner will ask you not to have beer cans strewn about your site....

Assuming they're still working on the buildings across the street, expect to hear the pop hits of the day being blasted by burly Mexican workers...kind of funny to see a construction worker spitting his chew on the ground while nodding his head to Taylor Swift.

This campground appears to be nice and well maintained, it has a pool, showers, and slow wifi. There is a nice cafe just outside the campground. The best carnitas torta in the world is 2 miles down the street. However its a Christian camp run by an American lady that is really rude to her guests if they are not walking around with a bible in their hand.

I'd say the other reviewers are a little harsh, and perhaps now outdated. We came here with a small group of Westfalia vans that were caravanning through Baja. We have two young twins (4 years old) and we found this place to be perfect for families!

There was a POOL (!!!), huge playground that was beautifully built, a roofed area with picnic tables, WiFi, laundry with clothesline, and the best showers in all of Baja (it's all about the heat and water pressure). The younger girl who worked reception during the day was so kind - she came and checked on us, spoke to the boys, etc a couple times during our stay too.

We really didn't have any complaints about this place. It's also close enough to the city but just out of town making it feel a little more safe given the current state of Baja.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the folks that come once a year to volunteer for a number of days to keep the place running and looking nice.

We were pleasantly surprised by this park. I had made reservations by phone over a month in advance which they lost. So I was expecting problems. But they honored our reservation and we grew to appreciate their staff over the time we were there. It's a full hookup park with laundry, a pool (which can apparently only be used when they don't have a group booked), and a little cafe/restaurant with decent wi-fi on the property.

Our site was fine, nothing special, with decent spacing for an "urban" park. The back sites are the furthest from the road and therefore the quietest.

While we were there we had to take our RV in due to a mechanical problem and weren't sure we'd be back. The young lady at the office told us we could leave some chairs on the site but if we didn't return, they would refund us for the nights not used. We did come back but we thought that was a generous offer.

The property is impeccable with pretty desert gardens around. A special shout out to Israel, the caretaker, who helped us out with some issues.

Wi-fi is touch and go but the wi-fi at the cafe is much better.

The laundry costs under $2 a load. They have two washers but no dryers but several clotheslines outside the laundry room.

The cafe has good coffee and decent breakfast and lunch food.

The location is about 15-20 minutes from the center of town and the malecón. It's also close to several very large grocery stores.

When looking for a campground this one came up as highest rated in iOverlander and after a few days I extended my stay for the month. The rate was $25/night but dropped to $20 for a week and $15/night for a month. I was close to the pool and showers. Not a crazy amount of foot traffic even though it was 75-80 daily. They also have a basketball court which doubles as pickle ball. Great cafe in the front, the food is great as is the service. Lots of spaces that can accommodate big rigs and also there are tent spots. I’ll be back next winter for several months. Beaches are within a 15 minute drive with Balandra about 30. Gate closes at around 10pm and a security guard waits for anyone coming back later.

We loved our 3 weeks here. The park is gorgeous. It’s landscaped beautifully, and well maintained. Great fit for big rigs, nice common areas with lots for kids to do. Nice pool, pickleball, ping pong, trampoline, shaded areas, etc. Nice staff, laundry, showers… and the cafe on site is soooo good. You could eat all 3 meals here and be more than satisfied! Good WiFi too. Highly recommend!

The prices have gone up since my last visit a year ago but it’s still worth it. 600p per day, FHU 30 amp, slightly more for 50 amp and the spaces are huge. Dry camping is available for 350p. Beautiful grounds and the wall between the road is complete so road noise is minimal. If you’re interested in going between December and March its best to book a reservation. Currently its Semana Santa so most expats have gone home. Be sure to say hi to Mercy the camp pup and hit the cafe for really great food at a reasonable price. This is my 7th time here

This is the Tak Majal of RV campgrounds as far as Baja goes! I pulled a 44” 5th wheel in but occupied 2 spots to angle it such that it wouldn’t stick out into the road. 30 A hookups, septic, and Mexican water! Laundry and showers were awesome, and there’s more to enjoy if you have kids. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke English. They have no problem with pets provided you clean up after them and keep them on a leash. They don’t have a dedicated dog walk, but if you walk out the gate, turn left and walk about 20 meters there’s a field on the right you can let them run in. There’s also a little coffee shop that also serves lite food. My only suggestion is stay as far back as possible to avoid the road noise, but it’s quiet otherwise.

After coming in from a long 2 week drive we were skeptical about yet another camp ground and decided to only stay for 2 nights and see how it goes. They have 2 options; dry camping 300 pesos a night, with use of their toilet/shower facilities or full hookups for 500 pesos a night.

We opted for the full hookup because of covid but we needed not to worry. The place is super clean and the bathrooms are spick and span.

There is a laundry facility with one dryer and laundry lines if you like your clothes sundried.

Clean large sites, separated by 2 sites because of covid. Wifi was really good most of the time, at night it was a little spotty because of people streaming we guessed.

You do hear the road but it is not terrible, mostly it is pretty quiet.

Excellent for children, lots of different play grounds, volleyball nets, ping pong tables and other kid stuff.

Friendly management and a little coffee shop with lots of nice pastries and coffee.
