Fiat Lingotto Factory

This building was once the home to Italian Car Manufacturer Fiat. Famous in it's own right for being the home of perhaps most popular and successful car brands of all time as well as being the biggest Car factory (at the time). Today it is perhaps more well known for a unique piece of architecture that sits atop of the building itself, A roof top test track! Cars would move from floor to floor of the building, having a new part added as it moved up the floors, before emerging complete on the roof ready for it's first test run.  Today this building is a multi purpose facility housing schools, stores, apartments and more but the test track remains. The test track isn't completely forgotten though, it was reopened for motor vehicle use in 2011 when Red Bull held perhaps the most scenic Vespa race of all time. No word on whether the roof will be open for more races in the future but we certainly hope so.
