Dinham Hall was built in 1792 by Samuel Nash, agent to the Earls of Powis. It now offers 13 elegant bedrooms, each offering the charm and proportions typical of Georgian architecture. All rooms are finely presented with sumptuous decoration and antique furnishings, with each room offering something a little different. Eleven of the bedrooms are located within the main house on the first and second floor. A ground floor suite and 2 standard double rooms are located with the Garden Cottage. Molton Brown toiletries and enjoy stunning views. The hotel does not provide baby cots. Ludlow Town offers the discerning visitor an eclectic mix of boutiques, tearooms and gift emporiums, not forgetting the world-famous butchers and purveyors of fresh produce. Regular and varied markets are held throughout the year. Ludlow nestles amongst unbelievable scenery, described by the famous architectural historian, Pevsner, as 'one of the most memorable streets in England.’ The River Teme snakes below the castle parapets, winding through weirs towards the Severn. One will find walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, adventure activities and hang gliding in the area. About 10 miles away, you will find 'Little Switzerland'; with the sound of redstarts, buzzards and skylarks for walkers, cyclists and riders to enjoy. The hills of South Shropshire are one of the few remaining rural idylls and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The vast Mortimer Forest folds around Ludlow, covering much of the surrounding area. Ludlow Castle (2 miles / 3.2 km): Perched above the River Teme the castle is a regular setting for events, markets, craft and food fairs, Shakespearean plays and concerts. Ludlow Racecourse: It is said that 14th century soldiers raced their horses at this National Hunt course approximately 5 miles away.
