“13th century castle ruin”
Dolwyddelan Castle is a Welsh castle located near Dolwyddelan in Conwy County in North Wales. It was built in the 13th century by Llywelyn the Great, Prince of Gwynedd and North Wales.
Very picturesque and a good stop off point on a drive through Snowdonia. We found the Roadtrippers location to be slightly off, but it is very well signed and easy to locate. When you park, walk to the left and not up the hill - you can't get up to the castle that way!
