“double double toil & trouble...”
The Museum of Witchcraft in Boscastle, Cornwall, houses the world's largest collection of witchcraft related artefacts and regalia. The museum has been located in Boscastle for fifty years and is amongst Cornwall's most popular museums.
In the early days the museum was named the Folklore Center of Superstition and Witchcraft, and was NOT well-received. It was in a run down mill nick-named the "Witches' Mill", and in order to keep it open every day Williams hired a man named Gerald Gardner, a local "witch", who went on to help transition witchcraft into the modern movement of Wicca. All the occult artifacts are real and some are hundreds of years old.
