“A quaint working village”

Ballintoy is a small village and civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is located alongside the B15 coast road, 17 miles north-east of Coleraine, 5 miles west of Ballycastle and between it and Bushmills. The village is located about one kilometer from Ballintoy Harbour, a small fishing harbour located at the end of a very small, narrow, steep road down Knocksaughey Hill which passes by the entrance to Larrybane and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. The Ballintoy Harbor was the filming location for the Iron Island's Lordsport Harbour and is the location for the scene of Theon Greyjoy's homecoming in season two of HBO's Game of Thrones.
