An ancient castle dating back to the Middle Ages. Its history can be traced back over 700 years. There is an admission fee to enter. Boat trips can be taken directly from Oban to the castle's pier. The castle can also be reached from other parts of the island. There is also a cafe and gift shop at the castle. For many years it has been a clan seat and, occasionally you can see the clan chief about the castle.
