“A must stop for sci-fi fans!”

He's been called "the Georgia O'Keefe of Sci-Fi Horror" (mainly by me), and his surrealist art has transcended the boundaries of both surrealism and art. Or something like that. Nevertheless, no one does cyberpunk sci-fi and Lovecraftian horror as well as the Master of the Macabre. So, rest in peace, Mr. Giger and thank you for the nightmares! The first Giger Bar opened in 1992. Designed by Giger himself, the delightfully-horrifying bar is located in his hometown of Chur, Switzerland. Museum HR Giger opened on June 20, 1998, appropriately in the medieval Château St. Germain. -Roadtrippers The famous Giger Bar was created by the Chur artist and Oscar winner HR Giger.  H.R. Giger acquired with his "Creation", the alien, world fame. In his hometown of Oscar winner has set up a bar, which is a must for any fan of the artist. Surrounded by fantasy creatures and skeletons you sip your drink and enjoy his earthly an aperitif long the slightly creepy feeling of being in another world.  The bar was originally scheduled for New York. However, planning difficulties prevented this project and so the bar was in the exclusive Giger design in Kalchbühl Center. The entire interior with bar and furniture dating from HR Giger.

The first Giger Bar opened in 1992. Designed by Giger himself, the delightfully-horrifying bar is located in his hometown of Chur, Switzerland. It's an incredible bar with a great museum. Highly highly highly recommended.
