Yukon Discovery Lodging & RV

This was a perfect stop for us along the Alaska Highway. Only negative, for some, was the lack of wi-fi or cell service. Nice big level sites. Super friendly people. Very quiet. Lots of grass and trees in a park like setting.

Km post 1818 on the Alcan Highway. Very nice RV park with full or partial hookup. Flat surface, reasonable spacing. No cell service or Wi-Fi. Off the grid. There is a diesel run generator for electricity. There are small houses for lodging too. Very clean bathrooms. Showers, 2 minutes for one loonie. Pay for laundry - we didn’t use. Store with wine, beer, snacks, trinkets. About 50 miles to US customs and 35 miles from Canadian customs. Helpful, friendly staff.
There is a grass airstrip. Didn’t see any planes.

Great Park With Full Hookups If You Need them. Nice Sites Both Pull in And Back In. The only drawback of this park is there is a diesel generator that runs 24/7 that provides the electricity to the park. The constant hum takes away from the tranquility of the park.

2) Our pull-through was shared buddy site.
3) No cell service for Verizon or AT&T.

Campground WiFi:
-Some campground wifi connection available at the office and deck. If busy it is tough to connect. Cannot connect at sites.

Cell/hotspot using booster:
-Verizon: No service
-AT&T: No service

Sites: Pull-through 30 amp FHU. Buddy site. Our particular buddy site had a poor electric connection (have not had a problem at any other parks with our adapter).
Campground Road: Gravel.
Grounds: The grounds are clean.
Bathrooms/Showers: Unsure. Did not use.
Laundry: Unsure. Did not use.
Location: No gas or groceries for 40 min SE and 45 min NW of campground.
Near interstate: It is off of the main route.
