Takhini Hot Springs

Sites are reasonably well spaced in a pretty forest setting with a choice of back in and pull-through sites. Choose your electric hookups, priced accordingly: 15 amp, 30 amp, 50 amp and non-electric sites. We paid $33 for 15 amp service. Non electric sites were $28, 30 amp was $35.

Easy walking distance to the hot spring pools. Guests of the campground get a 20% discount on the hot springs ($10 instead of $12) and 15% discount on the Yukon Nature Preserve (just under $20 pp for the bus tour).

Water available by the office. Garbage and recycling as well. Pay showers available in a private bathroom located the office building ($1 per 1 minute), shared with the hostel.

There was a black bear hanging around the campground – we were there 2 nights and he made an appearance both nights including 30 feet away from our camper. Other campers set off loud poppers attempting to scare the bear away.

No AT&T signal, Bell Canada was good. Campground WIFI slow but moderately useful though you had to log in again every 20 – 30 minutes.

The circle road through the campground to get to our site was tight (almost impassable) at 2 corners. A lot of the sites put 2 rigs close together. The sites only have power. No water and no sewer at any site. And our site's picnic table was on the service side, not the patio side.
Overall, not well planned out, and way too much $$ .
And, their wifi has no internet connection!

Access to the Hot Springs is about $50 per night and adults only not like it used to be a Campground in South is OK but they don’t let you have a fire past 10 o’clock no generators whatsoever and terrible cell service

Very hard to find. It will be a nice campground if they clear the sites out better. Very rural, and wild.
