Watson Lake Municipal Dump Station

Access via 9th as there is construction on 8th. Free dump with easy accessibility. Rinse water at the dump did not work. No fresh water fill here but you can fill at the Visitor Centre by the signpost forest. Wifi at the visitor centre!

This dump is located at the spacious parking area for Wye Lake park. Beautiful place to hang out for a few hours with picnic tables, grassy areas, shade. Also enjoy the 3 km trail around Wye Lake!

You are able to fill your tanks for free at the car wash across the highway. Enter the car wash at the rear and the water source is right before you enter the wash bay on the right hand side next to the building.

The dump station does not have potable water. Potable water can be found at the car wash right beside A Nicer Motel. Water hose is located right before pulling into the car wash on your right attached to the building. Free to use.

Very easy to find following the map on Campendium. Nice clean and convenient.

The coordinates were exact. The potable water that people talk about across the street at the car wash was a tight fit with our fifth wheel. It’s not the same as last year. It’s hard to get to and they do prefer that you fill up.
